My father-in-law’s was in early January, like the 3rd or 4th. Some years I remembered to remind my husband to send a card. His mother and stepmother, I don’t even know. I send them Christmas cards and pictures of the children when we have new ones.

It’s been so warm here, I’ve got spring garden vegetables up. If we don’t get some deep freeze, the bugs are going to be terrible next year.

Whatever works for your in-laws LOL. My Grandmothers is January 1st and My Other Grandmothers was January 12th, so Like I said, busy time of year ;)

Kansas weather does kill any invasive creepy crawlers that come up from the south, The past 4 or 5 years we had snow on the ground on Christmas Day. Not this year though.

Are you sure that isn't folklore? As kids, we sometimes placed live insects in the freezer, took them out and guessed how long it would take for them to thaw and fly/run away.
