Here’s a question for the panel:
Would the cost of a sex robot ultimately be less or more than the cost of a human sex partner, one that’s always available and never has a headache?
Would it be less enjoyable because the robot is not going to refuse or disapprove so there’s no challenge to it?
I think it’s telling in just how hipocritical a lot of the males posting affirmative replies to this article truly are. You’re deeply moralistic until it comes to your wants & cravings. Homosexality: “it’s wrong. Bunch of queers. Unnatural”. Bruce Kaitlyn Jenner: “it’s immoral. Isn’t what nature intended”. “. Beastiality: “disgusting”. Having sex with a robot: “”sign me up man. Sounds cool. Can I pick her chest size? At least I won’t have to listen to nagging.” Seriously, if it’s a sin to sleep with a member of your own gender or to fornicate with another species there, how do you think God’s going to feel about debase get humanity by sleeping with a robot with double Ds? :)
My opinion is that box wine is under-rated. Stays palatable longer than uncorked bottled wine.
In my reply, I was only commenting on the sexbot phenomenon, which is literally dehumanizing. There are other ways to dehumanize, too -— including treating a man “like a walking credit card.” Neither contributes much to real respect between the sexes.

Japan has had a high divorce rate for a long time, and much of it is women leaving the men. A great portion of Japanese men in general do not believe that if they commit to a marriage that the woman will stay.
The reason for that is typically because their mothers didn't stay. So who dehumanization who?
I lived in Japan for a couple of years back in the eighties. I have friends there now.
Japan may not have the same problems that the United States has, but they have even greater problems with the state of the family unit than we do.
And sex with robots that dehumanizes people, well there has been a multi million dollar per annum business in sex robots in the United States dating back to at least the seventies. They can be had in rubber or plastic. They come in every color and size. They usually take two batteries. Women (mostly) keep them in a drawer with their underwear or in their nightstands.
One dehumanization leads to another. Things get reciprocated.
So that is why God invented Thailand and the Philippines.
I hope they all come with a mute button.
