Knicks forward Derrick Williams was robbed of $750,000 in jewelry at his Tribeca apartment early Saturday — and he’s blaming two women he took home from a Meatpacking District club earlier in the evening.
The women pillaged a Louis Vuitton jewelry case holding a small fortune in basketballer bling, law-enforcement sources said.
“I don’t want to talk about it,†Williams said after the Knicks’ game at Madison Square Garden Saturday night. “It’s still up in the air.â€

Go try and explain this to the insurance guy. I doubt if his homeowners policy will cover this deal. That’s the thing about having high-price jewelry around a house....you need a wall safe to keep the stuff real safe.
I'm guessing the insurance company is going to want to see the receipts. Because when my car was broken into, I reported a loss of $350,000 in camping equipment. The insurance company was skeptical.

I had a party once at my house for FRIENDS and neighbors... when it was over my wife’s perfume case had 3 bottles missing.
If nice watches are included, it’s easy. A platinum rolex Daytona is about $80k. Pateks can easily clear $100k. I can put a few hundred thousand dollars in watches in my coat pocket, easily, and still have room for a candy bar and more.
