Bring it back to America.
Production. And profits.
Bringing back the profits incurs a 30% tax.
When Jobs was still alive, and he met with Obama, he asked Obama to have a tax holiday of sorts to allow companies like Apple to bring the money back without paying another tax on the money earned overseas. Obama would hear none of it.
The high taxes are chasing capital say to other companies, and ensure that new companies will start up elsewhere. It used to be the other way around.
Companies run by rich liberals shouldn’t have to pay taxes. Taxes are for working people.
I’m waiting to see the loot America first elites here on FR come out with their bashfest.
You really know how to draw them out CNN.
Keep up the good work!
America first! Screw the rest.
“Bring it back to America. Production. And profits.”
As soon as corporate taxes are lowered from 35%;
As soon as the educational system begins to actually educate;
As soon as the US rebuilds its manufacturing base;
As soon as the US stops its slide into Third World status;
As soon as there is some guarantee that neither party will undue any of the above once done.
Demands that U.S. corporate stockholders “patriotically” turn over their hard earned money to Debby Wasserman-Schulz’s criminal gang are unpersuasive.
Why not create conditions that encourage production and repatriation of profits, like we had in the 1980’s? Notice that American companies are moving headquarters out of the U.S. and to Canada? We are on the way to becoming Chavista Venezuela. Stock up on toilet paper.
Avoiding taxes is responsible sterwardship.
now I wonder why they did that? Have you ever stopped to think that perhaps their production model is key to their success- and the key to how they can and do hire hundreds of thousands of high paying Americans.......how they pay high rents in hundreds of locations supporting other American jobs.....etc etc?
Oh, wait...no, you’ve never exhibited any ability or interest in understanding how economies really work. Without their production model, NONE of this would be anywhere near as successful.
Cook is such an assclown next to Jobs. But I LOVE my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. I don’t want to put them down.
