I know he’s not afraidfortherepublic’s U.S. Rep. and I don’t think he’s Diana in Wisconsin’s Rep. either, but they would likely know about his chances of retaining his seat, if he were challenged by a worthy opponent.
I don’t care about worthy. This is an opportunity to slap the evil, arrogant GOP elitists. I’m not in WI, but he doesn’t seem to care about his district. Maybe Mustapha the Halal Dogcatcher could beat him.
I think Ryan’s district has been gerrymandered to be safe for him, but adjoining districts are very much Blue. A strong candidate could take him down, sad to say.
Where is the young man I met 10 years ago who spoke so passionately on Right to Life at the Catholic Coalition to re-elect George W. Bush? Where is the “bottom-line” fiscal hawk of the last 10 years — the Jack Kemp intern? That’s the Paul Ryan I fell in love with, but he seems to have disappeared.
