Even though I was a hard rock fan, I had a secret crush on Agnatha. Wow, she was hot.

Their production (which the two guys did themselves is masterclass material that todays top level mixers study.

I like the music technically. It’s even fun to listen to. But God as my witness I feel like a raging homo when I liisen to it because of pix like that. WTF were Viking descendants thinking? 70s or not. Yea the chicks were hot. But Damn. The dude;s foofoo outfits just scream NOOOOOO!!!!!!

ABBA were masters of the irresistable song. Their tractor beam will reel you in.

If you guys are into classical and opera you should keep your eye out for Patricia Janeckova, an up and coming young Czech Republic soprano. Very talented young girl.

As fascinating as the outfits, the worldwide fame, and the interpersonal relationships/marriages were, the production was critical to the ABBA success despite 99% of listeners being unaware of it except to say that they could recognize it and loved it.

In one ABBA documentary, their longtime engineer demonstrated the ‘the secret’ - two tape decks playing the same master with one deck slowed down by the slightest increment. The result? An expansive, almost orchestral sound for instruments and those distinctive multi-layered harmonies. The lush, saturated sound of analog equipment didn’t hurt either.
