CLEVELAND -- LeBron James tumbled into the wife of star PGA Tour golfer Jason Day while chasing a loose ball Thursday night, causing her to be taken from the floor by stretcher and to a local hospital.
James crashed into Ellie Day, knocking her chair over and landing on her as he fell out of bounds with 3:07 left in the fourth quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' 104-100 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Day was down for several minutes, and the game was halted while she received medical attention, which included having a brace placed around her neck and head.
James came over to the scene to check on Day and later said he had been told she was OK.

You can tell from the faces that whatever they see doesn’t look too good.
Prayers for her.
yep!
Somehow front-row seats don’t seem like the treat I thought they were.
Seeing as whatever force that broke the seat must have gone through her body first..... Prayers for her.
Opps. After watching the video I guess those are collapse chairs and not actual stadium seats. It sounds like she’ll be okay.
Court-side seats to see King James driving down the lane or Steph Curry draining three after three are a rare treat that I’ll probably never get to experience. On the other hand, I’m not aware of any other pro sport besides the NBA that places spectators at risk of being run over by huge, powerful men running at full speed.
His wife is U.S.
Kyrie Irving is looking a bit out of shape for it being nearly mid-season...

Back in the 80s, my buddies and I used to get court-side seats at the old Chicago Stadium to see the Bulls for $20 on game day. It left plenty of money for beer. That was definitely another era.
Looks like she’s been released from the hospital.
