Muhammad Ali is a cultural icon who is severely disabled and usually in a state of incoherence. Once again, Ali is being used by his family and caretakers. Same as with Stevie Wonder, a ‘safe’ entertainer from the past, who gets carted out a few times a year to accept yet another award for his music.
