Trump is smart enough to pick populist positions and state them in a way that guarantee he will turn on the switches in many people’s brains.

He’s doing it on purpose.

Whether he also believes what he’s saying or is flat out lying, I don’t know.

I listened to the Deace clip. He said if you want to know what Trump will do next, watch reruns of Dallas. He says Trump is J.R. Ewing and as the ultimate 1 percenter is playing his part perfectly.

Yesterday, Rush said that “Trump supporters were smart enough to know the gist of what Trump was doing”. LOL, obviously Rush hasn’t been to FR in a while. The people here believe Trump 100% 24/7 365 previous statements be damned.

Other Twitter gems:

Matt Walsh
@MattWalshblog
“Trump strategy: say 5 different outlandish conflicting things, settle on the one the fans like the most, pretend the others were never said.”

I mean seriously, we’re supposed to believe a guy that says “ban all Muslims from entering the US” just because he said it and knows the reactions it causes in the MSM/GOPe for saying it,

but just 6 months earlier he said this about Pam Geller’s “Draw Muhammed” contest:

@RealDonaldTrump from May 15
“The U.S. has enough problems without publicity seekers going out and openly mocking religion in order to provoke attacks and death. BE SMART”

No matter the issue, there’s a contradicting statement and it’s being deliberately done on purpose. This is part of the “negotiation” process Trump describes in “The Art of the Deal”.

As for those of you asking who Deace is, he’s the most likely Press Secretary in the Cruz administration and was instrumental in prepping Cruz beginning the CNBC debate when Cruz really started taking off in debates.

“Whether he also believes what he’s saying or is flat out lying, I don’t know.”

He believes in what he is saying, because what he says comports with his beliefs and behavior since he straightened up his life in the prep school military academy. He’s judicious about how much he says and when he says it and he makes mistakes, but he is very shrewd among politicians who are basic bumblers, political cowards, and/or self deluding ignoramuses when it comes to understanding the world Simply put, Trump has far more common sense than his opponents and exercises more good judgment in applying that knowledge.
