Who would have thought back then that you would have more to fear from a Muzzie Commie President than from a Russian Commie leader
[And I don't mean the few self-defense incidents as reported only in the Rifleman.]
From Israel: How to fire a gun to make sure Muslim terrorists don*t survive
Merry Christmas RC!
Thanks for posting this. Very helpful for this non-manly gal, too. :)
I always laugh at the “caliber that starts with a four” crowd, because body armor makes them useless as well. I have trained to make head shots with a .38 and 9mm.
James Butler Hickok proved all you need is skill, will, and a .36 Navy Colt revolver.
Man, you said a mouthful. Putin looks like a champ next to this creep.
Let’s face it, a state of war exists with Islamic terrorists. It is time that every law abiding citizen who legally possess handguns, carry same at all times.
I agree, and may I add.....*be trained and PREPARED to use it!*
In my office they’ve sent out an email indicating that in certain events (such as a terrorist attack, natural disaster, active shooter) employees may be required to “stay in place”.
But they don’t send this email to white people.
LOL.
Sounds like Texas.
Hide if I can, then point and click...(the little red dot and the trigger).
Someone told me that`s referred to as the Rhodesian Three-Step?
IF you`re CCW, take cover and return fire. IF not, kick yourself in the ass for not being CCW.
Just another version of "Duck and Cover" (and about as useful if you are in range).
Wait! Aren’t we supposed to point out to the gunman that he is in violation of a Gun Free Zone sign and will be in really big big trouble if he does not leave immediately? (sarc)
should be clear that one cannot expect protection if they can't provide it themselves because the only real extras that law enforcement brings is the guns they carry.
Then, the article goes on to give the same tired and useless advice that even military bases have - Run-Hide-Fight if confronted.
The question is, would you rather be armed with a gun or a Swingline stapler/Scotch Tape dispenser????
***a sad fact of life in the 21st century that active shootings***
Actually, there are shootings all through the 1900s if one cares to do the research, also lots of shootings back in the 1800s if one cares to follow up on some of the old newspapers.
The difference? In the early 1800s a family could be slaughtered and within a week the entire county would know about it. In a month the state Capitol would know about it. In three months word would hit Washington DC.
Today, we get reports of “Active shooter in progress” Immediately due to radio, TV and internet. Before the situation is controlled by the cops, the politicians are on the news calling for the same thing, MORE GUN CONTROL!
I actually read the whole article...it has some good analysis and suggestions
I read it too - pretty much what the military is telling its folks (both in uniform and civilians) and the situational awareness and other preparatory items are nice, but the rest is only truly effective if you have the tools to defend yourself/protect others.
After 24 years in uniform and 15 years as a DOD Civilian working with military folks, I got lots of training.
Ironically, I was selected for Anti-Terrorism training to serve as a Unit Anti-Terrorism Officer (as a civilian) and then discovered we don't even follow the guidelines they spend all that money training us in.
For instance, in case of a bomb threat, the preferred action is to evacuate and disperse, so as to not provide huddled masses for pre-planted bombs/shooters that may be there to take advantage of the mass exiting of buildings.
Instead, "in the interest of accountability" folks are ordered to mass up in a pre-defined area, thus providing a terrorist's wet dream come true - our area had a large dumpster right next to it which would have made an excellent place to plant a large explosive and provide some "bonus" shrapnel.
We are being run by idiots who are more concerned with nose-counting (control) than in actual safety.
The really sad thing is that this is no secret - the bad guys already know it, yet we ignore it.
