And meanwhile, in the People’s Republic of NY, we’ve yet to see any amount of snow above a dusting.

The forecast is for slightly milder than average for the month of Dec.

It’s not climate change.

It’s WEATHER!

Well, as for snow cover, your map is somewhat incorrect.

The lower mainland and lower Vancouver Island have ZERO snow. None, zero, nada, rien.

It is pretty damned COLD, though. Hard frosts for the last week plus.

It’s 4 degrees below freezing as I type this.

While a few degrees below don’t seem like much to those who live in the snowbelt, I can tell you that minus 5 at 70% humidity feels FAR colder than -20 @ 5%. Really.
