This piece will be music to many Freepers' ears. There are some who still "get it". I saw this via instapundit and posted it to FB, for the record I had more than one "millennial" give me a like over it.

This man says so much, so much better than I could say it myself. I searched and did not see it posted, it needs to be here for the "permanent record".

That feeling of discomfort you have after listening to a sermon is called a conscience! An altar call is supposed to make you feel bad! It is supposed to make you feel guilty! The goal of many a good sermon is to get you to confess your sins - not coddle you in your selfishness.

Yes I don't care if it is a sermon or just someone you know or just a complete stranger says something that makes you feel uncomfortable about yourself the first thing you should do is not get angry it is ask yourself why.

If you are uncomfortable, self-conscious or angry there is a reason and that reason is they have made a point.

If you can discover that point you may be able to correct a defect in yourself. If you can do that you may be able to make great strides in improving yourself and your life.

These students that are protesting these colleges and trying to provide themselves a 'Safe Space' are hiding from the truth and stifling their own growth.

“Anyone who dares challenge them and, thus, makes them “feel bad” about themselves, is a “hater,” a “bigot,” an “oppressor,” and a “victimizer.” “

They also love to use the word “bully”, just further showing how infantile these dumb b@stards are.

My granddaughter came home one day complaining about a professor who was angry and complaining about students not taking advantage of what for most there is free education. She had already had a bad day and she didn’t need that!

I just pointed out that maybe he was having a bad day too and that she isn’t the only one who has them and most people don’t give a damn if you are having a bad day so just grow your arse up and deal with it.

If she had grown up around me she would have already had many “It’s not all about you” lectures but she’s benefitting from them now.

I saw a response from a Harvard student in regards to comments saying they need to toughen up and stop acting like a bunch of crybabies every time they see or hear something they don’t like. You know what she said? “Maybe people acted differently in your time but that’s because they were all a bunch of racists and bigots. We’re making the world better. This is what progress looks like.”
Jeez Loueez...
