Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings has said that he is more afraid of "white men" than Syrian refugees. Despite his fear of whites, however, the mayor manages to get by living in a ritzy neighborhood that is more than 92 percent white and only 1 percent black.
The former CEO of Pizza Hut, Rawlings lives in the prestigious Preston Hollow neighborhood, which D Magazine described as "almost entirely lily white" as part of a feature piece titled "Why are the Best Neighborhoods in Dallas Still Segregated?"
The cushy neighborhood, which is home to former President George W. Bush, golfer Jordan Spieth, and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (among other celebrities), actually had a white-people only residency requirement on the books as recently as 2000.
While Rawlings claims to live in fear of white men, his heavily-white neighborhood had a grand total of zero murders in 2014. ...

But perhaps he has a point. About 13 years ago, one of obama’s sons walked into a deli in my predominately Italian neighborhood and proceeded to touch my girlfriend’s backside.
That was bad.
He felt a lot of pain, or maybe not if he was on crack.

Rawlings is an embarrassment to Texas. Sigh.

Why is it that the oxygen robbers that will never live with or interact with these people demand that we do?
The Syrian refugees wouldn’t make him feel unsafe because he knows they won’t be in his neighborhood.

Preston Hollow is weird... it looks exactly like suburbia, except every house is a mansion and some take up the entire block, and the neighborhood goes on, and on, and on...
Because he is a liberal loon..he doesn’t fear whites and wouldn’t last 5 minutes in a black neighborhood which is exactly why he doesn’t live in one. Its just like these black celebrities who go on TV to trash white people, they live in ALL white neighborhoods because they wouldn’t be caught dead living in their “Hood.” How the heck did that idiot become Mayor of Dallas anyway?

Liberals are always the first ones to move away from the problems they cause, but continue to loudly advocate for the problems they cause.

Years ago a college professor said blacks didn’t want to live in white neighborhoods, but rather a mixed one (which is probably true; who would want to be the only black person in a white neighborhood, or vice versa?). I believe blacks are increasingly realizing that class rather than race is the issue; this mayor would NOT want to live around the whites or blacks that voted for Obama.
