For what it's worth, the Melanesians are the dark/Black Pacific Islanders.

The Tibetans are reported to have inherited a 'high-altitude' gene from the Denisovians. Scientists are intrigued as to why the Denisovians would have a 'high-altitude' gene to begin with.

Was this a different group than the original aborigines. you can google melanesian pictures and aboriginal people and they do look different. they’re both dark skinned but the melanesians look more like africans

When I look at the genetic distribution of people across the world I am puzzled.

Take R1b: Europe, Central Africa, North Eastern America, Anatola, East Asia, and others, makes no sense.
