I read this in the dentist waiting room. How did you know?
“The distinguishing feature of the rodents is their single pair of continuously growing, razor-sharp incisors.[1] These incisors have thick layers of enamel on the front and little enamel on the back.[2]
Because they do not stop growing, the animal must continue to wear them down so that they do not reach or even pierce the skull.”

This was well written and presented well. Kudos to the USC School of Dentistry PR department and the author.
Except, one thing.
“USC is in pre-clinical trials.”
There are no such thing as pre-Clinical trials.
I am anti-dentite :)
Janet Moradian-Oldak, a professor at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, has investigated methods to regrow tooth enamel for the past two decades. The process is especially tricky because unlike bone, mature enamel cannot rejuvenate. Tooth enamel is a nonliving tissue.
...
Partly true. Teeth do regenerate from the calcium in saliva. There is also toothpaste that contains calcium which seems to help with conditions such as sensitivity.
bkmk
for later
Can’t hurt to try it on my head.
Is it safe?
