It will be just as popular in my household.

We don't eat there now. We won't eat there later.

Customers are looking for choice

I love it when marketing-types tell me I want "choice".

Then they offer cr@ppy choices.

McDonald’s is a far cry from the All American success Ray Kroc made it in to.

Chick Fil A, Wendy’s, Jersey Mike’s is much better in taste IMO.

McDonalds is pretty low on the list of quality for me on burgers and such already. Their prices are comparable to In n Out, Wendy’s, Chik-fil-a, etc. When the prices are the same, McDonalds will lose every time with me. The only time they get me is their $1 options for breakfast and now I’ve been hearing those are going away too.

Going from the $1 menu to the $2 menu? More evidence supporting the government’s position that there isn’t any inflation. After all, instead of getting two dollar burgers for yourself and your spouse, you can get one for $2 and split it. You still average $1 each. So, no inflation- you aren’t spending any more than before.

I must be getting ancient! I remember when you could get a McD’s burger and coffee and get change back from $1.00 CDN! In fact, that was what they advertised back then. Of course that was 40+ years ago.

Now, ONLY when they have specials, can you get a ‘big’ burger (Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, etc.), fries and soda for $4.99 plus tax otherwise, $6+, plus tax.

I would love to see them reduce the egg mcmuffin to $2.00. They are healthy, low calorie, filling and taste great. I love them.

Their $1 menu was a godsend over the summer when my sons and I were completely broke.
When we were in a rush, for $4 I could buy 3 McChicken sandwiches and a salad.

I’m not a frequent fast food eater, but I found myself at a Wendy’s last month and I tried the 4 for $4. I had milk rather than the soft drink and would have called it a winner all around—except that the chicken nuggets were McDonald’s style reconstituted chicken crap. I’d have thought Wendy’s at least, would have actual chicken.

It’s difficult to find a better deal that a McDouble and a large Diet Coke... $2.06, including sales tax.

It’s filling... it’s 450 calories... not that healthy, but... CHEAP!

Logically, it would be only 50% as popular.

well it’s been more that 10 years since I ate any of their food. Always gave me the “back door trots”. We just do not eat any big chain fast food anything. Give me that old greasy spoon cafe any time.
