Since a computer question came up, ZoneAlarm on my laptop keeps reporting that "G" wants to run at start up. I could not find anything on the internet about what this "G" is. Help.

Tell ZoneAlarm to block/quarantine/eliminate it. Likely trojan horse threat.

It wants to write a bunch of stuff in the registry.

Finally found out what that “G” was that wanted to load. It was Garmin, my GPS receiver. Don’t know why it always wanted to load, I update regularly anyway. So, happy the mystery is solved.
