I saw the full fight on youtube before it was removed. Rousey has never faced a striker that skilled and just couldn’t deal with it. Holm landed a beautiful standing elbow which I’m surprised didn’t end the fight even earlier. Rousey had no defense to Holm’s kicks to her knees either. Couldn’t handle Holm’s movement. Definitely got owned in the boxing element of MMA. Rousey might have done better if she had grappled more, but she wasn’t even having success with that. I think Holm trains with Jon Jones who is probably the perfect person for her to train with.
I haven't seen Rhonda's take after the match, if she lost with class & dignity.
From the little I saw, Holm was just so much faster, movement and hands.
...didn't see the knee kicks, surely one way to slow down an opponent.
Yep .... she was punch drunk after those first few blows. Holm was quick and accurate with blows to the noggin. Slaughter House in a Blouse just got her ass handed to her right proper.
Way over confident trainers and coaches in Ronda’s corner.....
Holm did a great job.....was well prepared.
