I wonder if something similar will happen just before the election so Obama can halt the election.

Any attempt to prevent the next election will kick off a spontaneous ARII. Everybody knows this - and no Patrick Henry agitator is required to kick it off. 100 million or so Americans are armed, pissed off, have little left to lose at this point, and are ready to roll. The statists have overplayed their hand by half and are living in a MSM bubble if they think otherwise.
