What about Hillary’s husband going off to that island to participate in all of those sex parties. She’s married to a criminal rapist, yet Carson has a friend that got into some legal trouble and it’s the end of his run. Give me a break.

I don’t dispute that Costa was found guilty, but at the time (he lives in Pittsburgh, this was local news) I found it odd (and still do!) that someone of Costas vast wealth would do $40k of insurance fraud.
Costa is a dentist, I’m not sure if he didn’t do the procedures (or someone on his staff didn’t do them and billed). For somebody with holdings as huge as Costas $40k of insurance fraud (on 50 patients) seems small potatoes.
I’m not “defending” I’m just giving my honest thoughts at the time I first read of this and now I still view it.
When I saw it was form AP I assumed Hit Piece.
If he has a shady side then I want him to go away regardless of whether or not he has an R next to his name. If he’s not guilty, then he must be very naïve about who he does business with and that’s bad too.
Well Armstrong Williams acknowledges that Costa is Carson’s best friend and business partner. The rest is a matter of court record and Carson’s own book.
