An 800-pound alligator has a new home - and a stylish new animal-print muzzle - after being captured outside a Texas hair salon.
The alligator, which is blind in one eye, measures more than 12 feet long and is estimated to be 50 years old, was captured Saturday morning in a Sugar Land parking lot by Christy Krobroth, a full-time dental hygienist licensed as an alligator trapper by the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife.
"I try to be sweet to these guys," Krobroth told KTRK-TV. "He wasn't too sweet to me but I'll forgive him for that."
Video taken from the capture shows Krobroth and a police officer struggling to get the reptile tied up. Krobroth was eventually able to tape up the gator's limbs and his mouth - which was covered with a small animal-print blanket as a makeshift muzzle.

Exactly why does Texas need an alligator breeding program. Texas has plenty of alligators and they are breedig just fine on their own.
The alligator didn’t start to resist until she asked if if it regularly flosses.
She aint bad looking either (the chick not the gator).
At least it wasn’t “800-POUND WOMAN WRESTLES GATOR”...
The moral of the story is, if you’re a gator in need of a perm, avoid this place.

Shoe and belt leather for export. Very expensive leather. Easier to harvest when gators are younger than when they get to be over 10 feet.
She's actually very attractive and she has a very nice sounding voice. But, I wouldn't want to get on her bad side or I just might find myself all tied up!
