The Legion of Black Collegians and others (including football players) associated with the boycott at Missouri stemming from racial tension on Saturday published a list of demands they want met before things return to somewhat normalcy.
Here’s the list in its entirety:
1. We demand that University of Missouri System President, Tim Wolfe, writes a hand-written apology to Concerned Student 1-9-5-0 demonstrators and holds a press conference in the Mizzou Student Center reading the letter. In the letter and at the press conference, Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exits, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-0 demands. We want Tim Wolfe to admits his gross negligence, allowing his driver to hit one of the demonstrators, consenting to the physical violence of bystanders, and lastly refusing to intervene when Columbia Police Department used excessive force with demonstrators.

The absence of proper grammar and correct spelling in the list of demands amply demonstrates that these people have no business in college.

Why do I think these racist wouldn't be happy if MU hired Ben Carson, Condoleezza Rice, or Herman Cain?
The academic strength or lack of it of the uh, athletes notwithstanding, this was written by someone who has probably nothing to do with UM.
Mark my words, we'll be seeing it at other schools, in "solidarity", before the week is out.

DoJ will be down there any day now, along with DoE. Be interesting to watch if they threaten Mizzou with loss of student loan guarntees do to “the climate”. More interesting will be the response from the State capitol.
Missouri needs to get its head out of its butt— every time the feds show up in their state, they get hammered in the national press.
Start by having the university system president say “all they had to do was schedule an appointment...grandstanding by blocking traffic gets nobody anywhere.”.
Never mind. Kick them out. This isn’t a first amendment thing, it is a behaviour thing. I am sure the University has some sort of code of conduct, just as the athletes and faculty supporting this dreck have contracts. Pick out the violations and terminate them.
In the SEC East, which is about at the same level as the MAC this year.

I think I see a pattern here.
I think the football team needs to be disbanded, some folks expelled, and everyone at the UNIVERSITY ought to sit down and attend some MATH and ENGLISH classes. What a load of tripe. He cut graduate health benefits (hey, under Obamacare, you are on your parents’ health insurance until you are 27!!!) and funding to Planned Parenthood. I guess I can see why the football team is heavily invested in THAT.
