Well not to brag but I have bananas and mangoes blooming this week!

I wanted to build a big flower bed on the outside of the wall of out lot using Cannas but those are not allowed to be imported here so I ended up using Gardenias

Wow. I love to smell Gardenias! Go ahead and brag! Wish we could grow stuff like that here- best I can do is a smallish dwarf lemon tree in the house. LOL

My Baxter cherry tomatoes are still blooming and are still producing tomatoes. Skins on this late crop is much thinner and wife loves the taste.

We’re getting a late crop of San Marzano tomatoes too. We froze a lot of them, but I’m looking forward to 1 more batch before frost arrives.

All my jalapenos are doing well, must can some before frost.

The rest of the garden is pretty well over. Am waiting for the last of the okra to make seed for next years crop. Have already gathered the Cajun Queen okra seed, but am waiting on the pods on the velvet variety to dry.

All in all, it was a great year for a garden. But I have quite a few potted plants to move into the sun room for the winter. Blueberry plants, Orchid Tree, Jolero Jalapeno, Greek Oregano and Rosemary plant.
