Rachel Dolezal has finally admitted that sheâs white.
The disgraced former president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP acknowledged her racial background during an intense interview on Foxâs âThe Realâ on Monday.
âI acknowledge that I was biologically born white to white parents, but I identify as black,â Dolezal said at the conclusion of an intense round of questioning from the showâs all-minority, all-female panel.
The 37-year-old civil rights activist made national headlines in June when it was revealed that she had falsely claimed to be black for years. Dolezalâs white parents, who live in Montana, told reporters at that time that she had falsely claimed a black man as her father and that her brother â who was adopted from Africa â was her son.

âYes, I am from (fill in the blank) and I have not followed the regular process for taking up residence or working in your country. Those are just inconsequential minor facts. The most important factor is that I self-identify as a resident/citizen of your country. So give me my rights and privileges now and we will sort out the irregularities later.â
