FR Reported by Chrome, Firefox to have malware???
http://none ^ | 10/27/2015 | USConservative

Posted on 10/27/2015 5:51:30 PM PDT by usconservative

Much to my surprise this evening, I fired up Google Chrome to come to FR and was blocked with a warning that FR contained Malware. Chrome wouldn't let me access FR as a result.

Firefox did the same thing.

God help & forgive me, but I then had to use the dreaded Internet Explorer to access FR and view posts.

Anyone else having this problem? (Well, if you are you're obviously not here are you!)

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Conspiracy
KEYWORDS: fr; malware; trojans
Virus, Malware and Browser hijack scans all came back clean.

Has there been some sort of concerted effort to report FR as infected with malware or something by the lying, scumball liberal pantywaste's that I'm not aware of?

Here's the text of the message I get in Chrome when I click on a link to read a post: The site ahead contains malware

Attackers currently on www.freerepublic.com might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer that steal or delete your information (for example, photos, passwords, messages, and credit cards).

Automatically report details of possible security incidents to Google.

Google Safe Browsing recently detected malware on www.freerepublic.com. Websites that are normally safe are sometimes infected with malware.

If you understand the risks to your security, you may visit this unsafe site before the dangerous programs have been removed.

Text of error screen in Firefox: Reported Attack Page!

This web page at www.freerepublic.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

Two buttons under the message: one is "GET ME OUTTA HERE!" the other is "Why is this page blocked?"

Thank you! Not sure why that didn’t pop up when I did a search.

Admin Mod: please yank this thread.

Me too — I thought it was just me.

I think we might have a certificate issue (just a guess)...

JR or JR?

See above, another poster was kind enough to link to the thread where JimRob addressed this issue.

I've asked Admin Moderator to pull this thread so as not to cause more confusion.

Ten threads.

Jim’s reply top of Breaking news.

Instead of firing up Google and coming here to whine...

How about firing up FR when you come on line?
