Mets pitching will rule.

I cannot wait to see the baby Ventura bat in game 3. I wonder how he will like being thrown at? Thor would kill his puny arse.

Granderson’s 2015 is similar to Agee’s 1969.

This should be a great series. Mets pitching vs a great KC lineup that just keeps swinging with few strikeouts. I like KC’s approach and I think that the ALCS was a great series.

"NY" Mets???

Looks like it's the Kansas City Royals vs Flushing Meadows, NJ Mets to me but then I'm from Kansas City!

Being that I’m a midwesterner, I’ll root for the Royals - just like I did last year.

But all in all, I’m not a big basebasll fan. I only pay passing attention thru the season as to what teams are hot and who are not. Same with the play-offs.

Oddly enough, if it was the Cardinals and the Mets, I’d probably find myself rooting for the Mets.

hmmmm......do I root for the Royals, as they are a small market team just like my Pittsburgh Pirates, and hence are continually defecated upon by the powers that be at Major League Baseball?

Or do I root for the Mets, simply because if they win it will really p*ss off Yankee fans?

Decisions decisions.

GO ROYALS!!

A team that tees-up 95+ MPH fastballs against a pitching staff that is herald for its 95+ MPH fastballs.

Simple math: 1980 Royals Lose to Philly
1985 Royals Win over St Louis
2014 Royals Lose to San Fran
2015 Royals Win Series over Mets

Go Royals!

The Royals have played this whole season like a team on a mission. They got a taste of success last year and they want more this year. I don't think they'll be denied.

I'd give the Mets an advantage in starting pitching but the Royals an edge everywhere else. The Mets have some impressive hard throwers in the rotation but every guy in the Royals line up can turn a fastball around.

the most amazing thing about the Mets is that I don’t think one has been arrested this year in Port St. Lucie for drunken behavior.

The Mets are my team!

Unfortunately, I have to get up very early tomorrow for a scan at one of my doctor's. Maybe I can catch game 2.

Dyskstra says he hired to PIs to spy on Umps to gather blackmail material, and it WORKED! They called a lot of balls for him. Could this actually be truthful?

I have to pick a bandwagon to jump on, and after reading this, Mets it is.
