They have some kind of issues with rational thought processes, that’s for sure.

We have never had a more confused generation than this one and how can we blame them?

Schools can’t decide how to label bathrooms and kids are told it’s okay to dress as the other gender. “We” have told them there are no moral absolutes. The church appears lost, parents often impart little discipline, and most are consumed with selfishness and consumerism. Everyone get’s a trophy for participating and we coddled them to death. They are subjected to thousands of hours of propoganda by the time they reach 20. Up is down and down is up.

Little doubt as to why they are so confused. Many kids are going to rebel in some way and look for another path as far from their elders as they can get. His dear mum is shocked, but I am not. I am surprised more kids are not going off the deep end. You can’t get much deeper than Jihad, but he won’t be the last.

I agree with that.

IMO, being sexually rejected/neglected as a male leads to alienation from society and the illusion that he cannot assert himself due to an instinctual inability to pass his genes. Combine this with an inbred hatred of the footloose society that “even HE can’t get lucky in (despite its freedom)”, an undisciplined longing for the bliss religion usually attributes to chastity, and an obsession about the archetype of the martyr or the soldier, which can give an unfruitful or virgin life meaning beyond the selfish and even earthly life.

Combine this longing with religious fervor, inextricably mix them, and forget the unconscious reason for resorting to extremism. That’s how I tie that theory together. IMO We need to address this possible causality as a society; I believe it is more potent than many give it credit for, much more than unemployment or a loss of national identity.
