Perhaps ‘Asian’ in the British sense of the word... ie: They look Poke-ee-stahn-ee.
My reaction to the two drawings would be Latino. But since the only description mentioned is of the two “Asian” men who drove off with the distressed damsel it’s anyone’s guess. If this was a British report the two “Asians” would almost certainly be Muslims of some sort. But in the USA the descriptor Asian is usually applied to East, not South, Asians. In terms of a calculated attack in revenge for the train heroics in France I’d say the Oregon shooting seems more likely. This one looks more like the usual kind of “nothing good happens” in the wee hours outside a gay bar.
