There is really no better description.
Guns are a right, and it is the responsibility of government to facilitate citizens the ability to use their rights. There are government officials who choose not to do this, but they are anti-constitutional. But trying to tell the population the above is difficult. They believe just voting against a right is enough.

It’s illegal for convicted felons to own guns, yet they own them. Increasing the price of bullets would only mean we buy them cheap from Mexico with our drugs.
