Largely, the racism of the Democrat party in the 60s is gone....the Democrats’ use of dogs and hoses has been beaten back by intelligent and compassionate conservatives. Just like back in the 19th century, the Democrat party’s rabid support of slavery and treating human beings as chattel was stopped by the Republican party—back when the Republican party stood for something.
The Democrat party replaced their 19th century mentality with forced segregation...and when that was made socially unacceptable, the Democrats went with the “soft” bigotry of government dependence and professional victimization.
