He was listing the reasons the man was fired, not what he was charged with. It most likely is a serious violation of department policy to be a member of an “outlaw gang”, whether you carry a weapon or not.
Having read the article, I’m not sure he was actually a member of the Banditos.
“Dudley, contacted by phone, denied being a member of the Bandidos and said there are many items in Johnstons termination letter that he disputes.”
It does say he was in several incidents associated with Banditos members.
I don’t believe anything I hear from the Waco city government.
That said, I don’t think I would have anything to do with Dudley.
