Somehow I think these “Scientists” are just Anti-Christian zealots.

One does not do such experiments and then publish the "results" unless this is exactly the intent.

Possible end times application. I notice that belief is reduced by a ‘third’. Wonder what that means?

Could it mean a third of the people are immune, or does it mean when once you believed in 10 commandments now you only believe in 6.66 commandments? 3.33 commandments have gone by the wayside?

The answer could be resistance of the person. It is neutralized by true believers, but makes non-believers, quasi-believers totally jump the shark.

One aspect of the ‘mark’ is that it can be resisted. That’s why it can’t be a simple tattoo.

Possible uses in medicine to correct some mental illness. Huge potential for miss use by government. This prompts an interesting set of questions:

Can this be used to implant learning? For example, could this be used to assist in the learning of language, math, science?

Also, can this be used to reverse one’s beliefs? The article talks about shutting off areas of the brain and thus “removing” the belief in God. Could this then be reversed? And if it can be reversed, could it be used to change a liberal anti-god into a God loving Christian?

Since most of sex is in the brain, could this be used as a treatment for homosexuality and transgender? How about treating pedophiles or other sexual deviants / addictions?

Can it be used to turn off or reduce a soldier’s sense of fear making him/her braver?

How about chronic pain management?

This seems like a Pandora’s box to me.
