Thank you all very much for your prayers, good thoughts and reassuring comments, they truly helped ease my fears ~ ~ some.

Rebecca landed safely back in NYC yesterday afternoon.

I will be resurrecting this thread next February, as she is headed to Trinidad & Tobago for Carnival and a volleyball tournament.

My daughter has in laws in Turkey - missionaries. There are some safe places and some not so good, from what I understand.
