Well, it goes like this:
- Carbon dioxide is plant food.
- Plants sustain life and put oxygen back in the atmosphere.
- Oxygen and plants both support human life.
- The left doesn't like humans much. They think the planet has way too many already.
- Therefore, they don't like carbon dioxide.
Got it?

Carbon dioxide is plant food. If CO2 goes below a certain level, there is a major die off of plant life.

All the settled scientists must have skipped 5th. grade where we learned about photosynthesis.
"Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy, normally from the Sun, into chemical energy that can be later released to fuel the organisms' activities. This chemical energy is stored in carbohydrate molecules, such as sugars, which are synthesized from carbon dioxide and water hence the name photosynthesis, from the Greek φῶς, phÅs, "light", and σύνθεσις, synthesis, "putting together".[1][2][3] In most cases, oxygen is also released as a waste product."--Wikipedia.

“”calls for a reassessment of carbon dioxide, which he says has many benefits for the natural world and for humankind.””
Well, shucks then - make it illegal. Can’t have beneficial effects from it and certainly can’t have this report advertised!! Hang the scientist...

I'm glad Watts discusses increasing carbon dioxide contributions to marine plant life. Warmist articles usually ignore it.
"I ncreasing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere clearly increase the growth rate of land plants, other things being equal. Is the same true for marine photosynthesisers such as algae, phytoplankton and symbiotic zooxanthellae in corals? Carbon dioxide dissolves in seawater and there is good evidence that this causes enhanced growth rates in many taxa. "
