Hubby got our taters dug right before we left. They are still sitting in 5 gallon buckets in the middle of the kitchen floor. Not sure how I’m going to store them.
Corn and potatoes was the best crop this year, and I’m on a low carb diet. Think I’ll cheat a bit now and then. LOL
Finally finished digging all the potatoes. Best patch ever this year. They did great. We’ve got boxes and boxes of them stacked in the entryway. Gotta get my twenty year old over here to help carry them down to the cellar. My arm has healed enough that I can do most things, but no heavy lifting as yet.
