Rather than newer and better equipment, people should start with learning to turn their phone sideways to shoot video in landscape mode. Shooting in portrait mode does not convey the full effect watching the latest YouTube beat down over mcnuggets or somebody’s epic skateboard fail.

Rather than newer and better equipment, people should start with learning to turn their phone sideways to shoot video in landscape mode. I think the iPhone had a feature to shoot landscape when in portrait mode. I don't have a phone anymore because I don't need one so maybe someone else can comment.
