The National Guard's plans plan for the neighborhood is revealed; Travis and Madison make a difficult decision.
Please let me know if you would like on or off The Walking Dead ping list.
In before the reference to liberals....
this series have been very disappointing. I can’t wait til the main series starts up again
I just don’t like any of the characters.
I enjoy the show very much and it kinds of give me some ideal what to expect when the government comes down on us. Though I don’t think I would be making signals with my mirror though. I want to keep hidden.
No doubt, if the government has a sinister plot for the neighborhood then Travis and Madison and the rest has the right to get the hell out of there.
Zombies aren’t eating anyone because none of the characters have any brains.
But before the first reference to the dear departed dead speaker of the house of ill repute in DC....
AMC has had a good showing with this series, partly because of little competition.
The new fall season (new and returning shows) began this week. FTWD may have more competition tonight.
Blindspot and Minority Report were okay. I about gave up on Limitless, but it improved in the final quarter-hour. The Bastard Executioner was interesting as an historical piece, but it didn’t grab me as a ‘must see’ weekly. I got through about 10 minutes of Rosewood and that was all I could take of the smarmyness. To night, Blood & Oil looks like a night-time soap opera, followed by Quantico which opens with trainees facing a major terrorist attack. I have both schedule for DVR.
Both the Walking Dead shows suffer from the same problem: stupid people doing and saying stupid things. One can only conclude that the show writers are a bunch of sheltered idiots who have never seen people in a crisis. My biggest pet peeve: zombie apocalypse, but guns are still bad bad bad. If we resort to guns, how are we any better than the zombies...er...walkers?
I am screaming at the TV while I’m baking bread for dinner....YOU IDIOTS! YOU ARE SO STUPID, YOU DESERVE TO DIE!
(My husband thinks I’m nuts.)
Really, one only has to keep in mind that these are left coast liberals...and yes...we can exist without them!
A new show..Moral something. Period piece set in the 60’s or 50’s or 20’s depending on how picky you are. Gangster type show.
We sat through 2 episodes, 15 min into 3rd we quit.
I’m ready for something catastrophic to happen here...maybe something like that would really ramp things up.
We must be watching different versions of the show. No where in it have I seen guns are bad bad bad. Throughout the show guns are a tool. Some characters don’t like them, but that’s reality, some people don’t like guns. But even those characters accept that indeed they are a tool. I think you WANT there to be an anti-gun message, so you insert it, thus giving you something to complain about. But in reality there is quite simply no anti-gun message in the shows.
It takes place in the city so its only natural that some don’t like guns in the show. Nothing wildly overt.
On the Walking Dead they generally don’t use guns for practical reasons. The noise attracts zombies and ammo is limited.
The makers of Z Nation said screw it and use everything from handguns to rocket launchers and grenades.
Well, there’s either going to be a Come to Jesus moment with this bunch soon, or it’s just another silly liberal grief grope show with zombies. I’m holding onto character and plot development as the show savers for the time being. Truth is, this is how self absorbed LA liberals would act in a situation like this.
Ammo is limited and they’re noisy, so there is a definite down side to guns. In the comics there’s a villain, whom we’ll probably meet this year or next, who scoffs at the group for using guns on zombies, he thinks zombies aren’t worth the ammo, save bullets for something dangerous like people. It’s an interesting perspective.
It’s kind of sad that I’m hoping that the zombies eat most of the main characters! LOL!
You lasted 7 minutes longer than I did. When the biracial lesbians were introduced I switched channels.
On the Lock and Load Radio Show with Bill Frady a few months ago, the TV show Sons of Guns had Max Brooks on to guide them in building a sweet anti-zombie gun. It’s a Ruger 10/22 installed into a bullpup stock with a suppressor. Pretty dang sweet:
