The Wharton School is the only one of the Ivy League universities to boast of undergraduate business degrees. The other schools make you go through 4 years of liberal indoctrination, I mean education, and get into thousands of dollars in debt before allowing you to start an MBA so you could learn something useful.
The rest of the University of Pennsylvania is as liberal as any other. In fact, the faculty and students of the rest of the school hate the Wharton students because they tend to be smarter, better, and work harder (hence they get all the A’s). Just like in the real world!
Back in the 1980s Wharton instituted a five-year combined undergraduate-MBA program that was basically a trade school for financiers.
Just like at Ohio State. The lib arts kids hated when us Engineering students were in their classes. Why? We would cut half of the classes and still blow out the curve. It actually got so bad that some professors would exclude us from the curve. LOL.
Some of the University of Pennsylvania’s science and medicine programs are excellent, too, with well-deserved reputations!!!!
Most folks who go to Harvard, Yale, and Prinecton, generally don’t need large loans to graduate. My son will graduate Harvard this year debt-free. So will my second son in 2018. Because of financial aid, I will have paid less for two kids to get through Harvard than Catholic high school.
