Beware... Rep. David Jolly (FL) is a RINO and a Fraud!

Posted on 09/25/2015 8:24:19 AM PDT by DestroyLiberalism

Remember that special election in Florida's 13th Congressional District back in March, 2014 when Rep. David Jolly campaigned as an anti-establishment Tea Party darling and defeated Democrat Alex Sink?

Well, don't be fooled by this RINO sellout. Since winning his congressional seat, Jolly has amassed a dismal conservative rating score of 48%, according to the Heritage Action Scorecard. And not only did he publicly opine that the government should support gay marriage after a Florida court struck down the state ban, he is now also on record for blasting conservative House members for their role in John Boehner's surprise announcement today to step down as Speaker of the House.

According to Fox News, Jolly said, "The honor of John Boehner this morning stands in stark contrast to the idiocy of those members who seek to continually divide us".

I would like to urge fellow FReepers to NOT be fooled into supporting this big phony David Jolly as he pursues the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Marco Rubio in 2016.

The same thing happened here in Indiana. Susan Brooks ran as a rock solid tea party conservative and after she won she went total RINO before the ink on the ballots was even dry. She followed Boehnor’s marching orders on every bill that came up.

He has represented my district for the past 2 years. I wouldn’t have voted for him this time and won’t vote for him for the Senate. He is looking to run for Marco Rubio’s Senate seat. If he gets the nomination, I will vote third party. He has been a HUGE disappointment.

He’s facing several primary opponents, although currently appears to be the slight frontrunner. There was an article posted about this race on FR back in July:

This stuff is happening all over. An incumbment challenger comes to the Tea Party for support; they support him and he gets elected. They monitor him after he’s in office and find out he’s failing to do what he said he was in office. The Tea Party contacts him and say’s what’s up? You’re not doing what you said you were going to do; he gives a few flimsy reasons but we know why he’s flipped to the dark side; pocket stuffing. So the Tea Party withdraws their support and THEY get called the bad guys. This is the reason so many RINOs and Rats hate the Tea Party. They know they have strong influence in politics so they slam them because the Tea Party holds their feet to the fire and makes them accountable (probably doesn’t to be said in these parts but I wanted to comment)...

Got ourselves lots of "wolves in sheep's clothing" don't we?

After watching one after another of these so-called "conservative" TEA Party folks, makes me want to look who exactly (and I DO mean names) backed them and from which organization - ala Eric Erickson, just to name one!

Erickson stood behind more than one charlatan running as a conservative but he failed to get him elected and still has his thong in a wad over that!

Trust me FR folks, there are plenty of people who talk a good game but at the end of the day, merely want to be kingmakers so they can catch a ride on the gravy train, just like liberals have done it for decades!

Lust for power is a mighty big drug that affects us all, if we're not careful!

Seriously, look closely, those of you in FL, who gave Jolly his street creds? There you might find some people wanting a seat at the table for more than honest reasons.

Yep. According to the Heritage Action Scorecard, Susan Brooks’ conservative rating is 58% in this congressional term and 55% lifetime. Pretty pathetic. (By the way, the average House Republican rating in the current term is 68%).

These creeps lied to people to get elected and hitched their wagons to a now defeated crook.

They might as well not bother running for reelection.

Here in Kansas our guy stayed true (Tim Huelskamp) and was one of the few who voted against Boehner at a cost.

We now have a guy planning to run against him who says that Tim Huelskamp is nothing but a trouble maker and not able to “get along” in Washington. “Get along” were his actual words. Man I hope he can’t beat Huelskamp but he’s wealthy and an OB/GYN so I hope the people aren’t fooled.

There are several. You can see a complete list on http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G16/FL. This is a good resource for all national races. Among the republicans Ron DeSantis has a high Conservative Review rating - 87% (a B) compared to David Jolly’s CR rating of 45% (an F).

He was running against former train wreck FL CFO Alex Sink, who also lost to Rick Scott for Governor in 2010. If it were in my district, I’d probably vote for just about anyone to see her lose again.

I’ve been meaning to email my congressman, Jolly to let him know what a disappointment he has been. Thanks for reminding me. I just did it. That’s one senate vote he won’t be getting from me.
