In my office there are several attractive unmarried women in their mid-20’s with absolutely no desire for marriage. None of them are religious or conservative in the slightest, but they’re not mannish-feminist types either. They do not realize their looks won't last, and about the time they will want some real fulfillment in life, they will likely have tossed away their opportunities to get some.

They will reach their forties and wonder why they are so depressed and unhappy, and why nothing they ever did in their earlier life holds any real meaning for them.

I spoke of my 23 year old daughter and 21 year old son looking for spouses. The general idea of marrying before 25 or even 30 horrified my young compatriots at work. Stupid women.
