I knew The Nuge would soon be joining the team. And now we have Palin, Cruz, and Ted all saying good things about Trump. Trump is making all the right friends. we already know he's making all the right enemies.

Trump/Cruz 2016

And The Nuge for Secretary of the Interior

Misleading headline. Nugent simply said Cruz would make a wonderful president....no endorsement.

something somehow....has gone awry....somewhere...VERY much awry

I thought I had just posted in a thread wherein Ted Had given the twi thumbs up to Ted....and now this?

Odd indeed

Perhaps Ted could post here and share the reason for his oddly differing statements?

On top of being a plain dud of a candidate, the Bush name is still poison, as much on the Right as it still is on the Left.

Only, that’s not what Nugent said. He said Cruz would make a wonderful president.....he didn’t say what the headline said.

Did your gut tell you that you would end up voting for Mitt Romney?

Although I did vote for Mitt, my gut told me “no”, but I didn’t have any other choice.

Yeah, I think Ted Cruz can save us. Rand, who a lot of people here don’t like, still has thought about a lot of hard issues and is very liberty oriented. A few other people might be better than the Donald, but he is leading the polls.

My gut tells me that more than a few of the alleged candidates are actually working for Jeb Bush. there’s a reason Christie cut Trump off before he could really sink his teeth into FioRINO. They’re all on the same team.

Yes. Trump is the path forward against the elite political class.

Don’t know about that, just know that my gut tells me not to trust Trump. And I don’t.

He is quick on his feet, but dang - I can’t watch the entire thing - his voice just goes all through me. I know he can’t help it - but, it’s so tinny and high pitched. As much as I love Sarah - her voice affects me the same way.

I think Cruz would have President Trump’s ear in a Trump administration, whether or not he held an official position in it, such is their apparent rapport. And Cruz’s advice could prove invaluable. Further, I firmly believe that Trump would avail himself of the counsel of capable conservatives such as Cruz in the exercise of his executive authority. With Trump we would get much more than Trump.

You aren’t alone. Love Cruz and everything he stands for and does for us. But the voice and stage presence makes me think he’ll have difficulty pulling in that small percentage of non political types who simply vote for the most telegenic person.

If we could somehow get Cruz to drop out and spend the next 12-months at Trump’s side mentoring him on the issues daily. That’s the winning strategy.
