A school bus driver is out of the driver’s seat following a video that has been viewed thousands of times.
The woman who shot the video says the bus driver constantly runs through stop signs with children from Springdale Elementary School on board.
One day, she decided to record what happened on the route and posted it to social media.
“I can’t believe someone would have that type of position and that responsibility and neglect it,” Rhonda Brown-Jones told WLWT. “That makes me scared. It makes me frightened because they have other people’s children in their hands and we expect them to make the right decisions.”
First Student, the bus company that supports Princeton Schools, released the following statement:
“We are disappointed by the performance captured in this video, as it does not reflect First Student’s dedication to safety or the very rigorous training our drivers undergo. Certainly, we understand the concern this has caused within the community. The driver has been removed from service as we continue our internal review of the incident.”
You’d think school bus drivers would know better.
Several years ago I was driving north on a two way street when I came upon a three way intersection (the third way going east). Across the intersection from me, headed south on the two way street was a school bus. We both came to this intersection at the same time. We stopped at the stop sign at the same time.
Then I made my move to continue on my way north when the school bus also moved into the intersection and made a turn in front of me to go down that eastbound road. I had to slam on my brakes. The school bus stopped too. Thankfully i didnt hit her and her bus was empty.
I could see the lady bus driver through the glass of the bus door. She threw up her hands as if to say to me, “hey, wait willya?” As if it were my fault she DIDNT USE A TURN SIGNAL to indicate that she was going to make that turn. For all I knew she was heading in a straight direction going south.

So, you think its intelligent on any level to run stop signs? And red light too?
A bus driver ( more like a idiot)... left a student on the bus last week. Went home...
Student DIED on bus.....only 3 students driver was in charge of...and forgot student?????? Where are they getting these incompetent drivers???
Good help is hard to find.
Some of my WORST memories as a child involve school buses. I always hated the thing as a result. In early high school, I would walk the three miles to school to avoid the bus.
