I got hit by a flying deer here in Washington.
It bounced off another Truck.
The meat looked a bit tainted to me so I passed, but the truck driver took it home. I told him he had dibs as the launch vehicle.
My old S10 pickup was easy to find a fender and hood and grill for so I made no claim. I even found them in the right color for $200 on craigslist.
I tend to scan back and forth a little further on the road now.
A co worker has a long commute across the corn fields of Illinois and the tollway is getting costly, so he side streets it, except in heavy snow.
He also gets a couple of deer each year.
Drives an old S-10, now I know why.
