The Bush/Clinton family’s new “closeness” (Barbara calling Bill “like one of our sons, to us”— ridiculous) lends credence to the underground story of the dope era (which hasn’t really gone away, just changed players), since in the humint intel world you cannot be dealing with saints— always with the scum of the earth, and dirty money.
