Just watched it, thanks for the post.
That brought back a lot of memories of the months after 9/11. I remember watching that World Series and that pitch. Great moment.
It’s really well done and quite respectful of the Republic and President Bush. If ESPN starts producing more programs of this quality and stops pushing the anti-God sodomite agenda, they’ll attract more pro-America fans.

That pitch was a proud moment. The “we will not be defeated” symbolism of it was epic.
I always thought-—and this is amazing coming from a native Arizonian-—that the fact that the AZ Diamondbacks beat the Yankees THAT year was probably the most unjust symbolism ever. Any other year.
That brought back so many memories ..... thanks.
Most memorable thing I remember from that series was when Ray Charles sang America the Beautiful, in his usual second verse 1st method.
