The flying club I wanted to join at Flying Cloud Airport insisted I get a physical. Diabetes flunked me...

The FAA has changed their rules on diabetes and private pilot medicals. You may qualify now -

He said the LSAT was the most difficult experience he ever had. EVER!

He's lived a cushy life. It wasn't that bad. The most difficult question I remember had to do with who sat next to whom in a movie theatre based on little snippets of information. (E.g. The one sitting in the aisle seat had a red sweater on. "B" was wearing a green swetaer. etc.)

It was back in the Twin Cities in ‘93.
Wife gave me the choice of building a new house or buying into the club membership.
My physical made the choice easy.

“My husband built the “shaker” that ran the plane through it’s pre-flight tests before it was released to the customer.”

Has he read Nevil Shute’s “No Highway”? Or seen the movie with Jimmy Stewart, Marlene Dietrich and Glynis Johns? About a fictional airliner that failed a shake test extended beyond certification requirements.

OK, so I dig deep into the old sporran, and go for it!

If my ciphering is correct, I would have to ride my bicycle...50 cal/ mile ...10,000cal each flight..+ I like chocolate...

NO!
I simply cannot afford all the extra calories!

IIRC, from my time way in the back, next to the lavatory.
One small cup of gruel and the smallest bottle of water they could find.
Any calories, cost extra.

Oh NO kidding! That’s so funny. I would have loved doing the opposite.

Interestingly the LSAT is worse than the Bar as you really don’t know what to expect with the LSAT. The Bar you know what to expect it’s just that there is SO much information to know that the studying wears you out.

Still. I shoulda been a pilot!
