That was the disclaimer that an Asian man sent to Rokashi Edwards, 25, a black programmer living in Toronto, before telling him that he would never consider having sex with a black man. Shocked, Edwards tried to push back on the man’s claim that he wasn’t being racist but he ran up against the same obstacle that many gay men of color face in the world of online dating.
“It’s just a preference,” he was told.

I know a Mexican who has had four blond, blue-eyed wives. He told me he didn’t like Mexican women. Is that racist? I thought so. But, then again, it’s a personal preference about what turns him on and off. It would be difficult to have a relationship with somebody whose look just turned you off.

I’ve known a lot of pretty girls who worked in the restaurant / bar business.
They all have similar stories: black men getting pissed off because these girls have turned them down on being asked out on a date. The result is the men calling these girls ‘ racists ‘ for saying no.
Basically, they don’t get what they want so it must be due to their skin color.
