As this new NFL season begins I like to recall... the 1975 Cowboys of "The Dirty Dozen" fame--

Golly, Bend-- Wasn't that the year Jaws came out... and y'all lost the Super Bowl to the Stoolers?

Yeah, big... but reboots are coming, aren't they?

And the rest, they say... is history!

So, all y'all Stooler fans, this is the year for... REVENGE!!!!

Super Bowl 50's score shall be Cowboys 37... Stoolers 35.

However, we have a season to begin... and here are my dead solid picks for the 2015 opening week:

Thursday night Tommy Boy gets his first comeuppance of the year... as Big Ben and his Stoolers crap all over big's second favorite team--

Yeah, old Roger... should have been there!

In regular Sunday action old New York Rex.2 has no luck at all as the Colts run wild--

Sorry, Imp, your Cutler is still festering as big's favorite team, the Pack, serves you rotten green & gold cheese--

Sorry, dear absent Allegra, my Old Dallas Texans beat your Texicans--

Cam may be running rough but it will be enough to get past the Jags--

Johnny Feetball's Brownstains will beat them Jersey Jets but I don't know if he will play any at all--

The Seahags will go fishing in St. Louis and catch the Rams with their horns down--

Texas A&M at Miami playing the Deadskins? Do you really have to... ask?

Ariz-Zona keeps the Ain't the Ain'ts--

Da Lions discharge the Bolts--

Baltimore's Black Byrds welcome Manning Heavy to the NFL Old Folks Home--

Sorry, Seven, TCU North's Tigerettes stomp your Waiders--

Allegra's Old Earlers sink Tampa Bay's re-float--

Monday Night Feetball's Double Header finds the Iggles slipping by Vock's Old Dogs--

And the Viqueens make the 69ers drop more than their soap--

And, oh yeah, my Boys make Manning Lite... ever lighter!

Now, get your picks in... prontoooooooooooooooo!

I missed Thursday’s game so no pick there. But as for the rest....

Sept. 13
Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills. Colts have Luck. The Bills have.... I don’t know. Buffalo does have a good D but that won’t be enough. Colts.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears. Again, a QB situation. Even without Jordy Nelson, Rodgers still has plenty of options. The Bears still have Cutler. Packers.

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans. Don’t know what to make of the Texans this season. They narrowly missed the playoffs last season. Playing at home I’ll take them to beat the shaky Chiefs. Texans.

Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars. Panthers lose to the lowly Jags (in their fourth rebuilding season!). Panthers.

Cleveland Browns at New York Jets. What to make of this one? Two teams in disarray, but at least the Jets have some weapons. When in doubt take the home team. Jay-Eeee-Tee-Ess!

Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams. New - look Rams, who played the Seahawks tough last season. And the time to beat the Seahawks is early, before they establish themselves. Rams in the upset.

Miami Dolphins at Washington Redskins. Let’s face it - the ‘Skins are in free-fall. These aren’t the ‘72 Dolphins, but they’re still plenty good enough to beat the Deadskins. Phish!

New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals. The Cards.... If they would have had a serviceable QB last season, they could have won it all. The Saints lost a lot of players over the off-season. Cardinals.

Detroit Lions at San Diego Chargers. Two teams of the Jekyll-and-Hyde variety. This week I’ll take the Chargers Dr Jekyll over Detroit’s Hyde. Bolts!

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos. Broncos have the habit of embarrassing the Ravens in Denver (except for that playoff game three years ago...). But I think Peyton is definitely on the downturn. Ravens in the (mild) upset.

Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders. The Moribund Raiders.... Are still moribund. Bengals.

Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another great match-up.... Winston makes his debut. Who is the QB for the Titans? Who the heck knows? Toss a coin.... Titans.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys. Two teams headed in opposite directions. Murray is gone but the O-line remains. G-Men... Well, they Eli and that great receiver but not much else. ‘Boys.

Sept. 14
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles are gonna go wild in the Georgia Dome. Ryan and Company don’t have enough to keep up with the Cheesesteak Boys. Iggles!

Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers. Miners are no longer the monster of just two years ago, and Kaepernick is not the second coming, but they have enough to beat the Vikes, even with Peterson. Niners!
