Those who push for everify and the ability of the federal government to private employers who they can and cannot employ are somehow under the impression that that power of the central government will not be abused.
But who is to prevent the government from contracting with SPLC to provide the names for the list of who can and cannot be employed? If not the SPLC, will it be abused to punish either employees or employers for political reasons? Or just for petty reasons?
Nah. everify is different from the IRS. We can trust our politicians and bureaucrats.
So we should just have no government, just anarchy in your opinion.
