Classified material is not marked “classified”.
It’s marked, “Top-Secret”, “Secret” or “Confidential”.
Some classified information has additional markings, ex:
“Secret NOFORN”. Meaning the highest level of information on this document is classified “Secret” and this information is not releasable to foreign nationals.
I would imagine she had tons of ‘WNINTEL’ stuff.
Even emails that appear to be “unclassified,” they provide details on her life and activities, her family, plans, whatever, and added together provide to the enemy insight as to what could be a very high-profile target activity. . .it is called EEFI. . .essential elements of friendly information, meaning collect ‘unclassified’ information and together they produce classified information.
“No classified” is a screen, a deflection to spin the fact she had NO unclassified emails while in the Dept of State. To use the words of the messiah, “(s)he acted stupidly.”
I used to write classified messages, classified by my own good judgment. . .and the DECLAS date is usually established by the OADR. . .speaking from a military perspective.
Of course, it is.
But note what she said...
"I did not send or receive material marked 'Classified'...
Said she who must be parsed...
Now, why did she say it just that way...
Because anything on her private (insecure) server had to be manually transferred from The S-O-S's secure server on the government network -- there being no way to inter-connect them. And, in the process of transferring them, the aide (Huma or whoever) also was responsible for removing any classified markings.
Thereby allowing she who must be parsed to state unequivocally, "I did not send or receive material marked 'Classified' (on my server)...
It’s just like “I did not have sex with that woman...” It all depends upon what the meaning of is is.
‘
If she sent even a part of a classified document to someone over that server she is in violation of the law. It does not have to be marked as such. The information still retains its classification regardless.
